Verses from Thoughtland
by Muriel Grice
CONTENTS

INTRODUCTION

This little book of poems was purchased via the Internet in July 2024 while I was working on the background of Charles, Harriet and their daughter Muriel Grice. It is not known when she produced her little book, perhaps in the 1930s. One of her poems is titled 'Exeter', this is significant as Muriel went to Exeter University. It is assumed that her unpublished poems along with other material survived until the death of her mother Harriet in 1964 when it was either dispersed or destroyed. No photograph of her is known to have survived although she or her parents may be depicted in old photograghs of Harvington.
